About Us

Hello, my name is Constance A Stegall and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of Florida and NY. Presently practicing in FL. My area of concentration are in the areas of Marriage and Family and Mental Health Counseling.  

I am the owner of Center for Life Transitions and an approved Supervisor in the State of Florida for Mental Health and Marriage and Family Therapist Interns. I am a  Parenting Instructor,   I am a former President of SWF chapter for the National Organization for Marriage and Family Therapist, a Family and Court Mediator in the state of Florida, a group facilitator for Huntington Disease Association in Southwest Florida and formerly an approved Continuing Educational instructor in the State of Florida. (Chapter: 491), 

I am dedicated to helping clients find relief and build the inner courage and strength to solve problems and engage in their lives fully and completely.  My ultimate goal is to help you grow in self-understanding, so that you can better cope with your immediate situation and with present and future decisions. I help clients identify problems and aid them in working towards a solution. 

I believe that each individual is unique, regardless if the issues are the same. Because of this belief, I provide an eclectic approach to therapy matching each individual’s need with a specific therapeutic approach. Modern therapies are utilized to meet specific needs of my clients through personalized care and specialized services.

I previously worked as a counselor with Major Medical Center in Miami and worked with inner city children.  I left Miami and moved to Cape Coral and I worked as a Grief  Counselor with Hope Hospice of Southwest Florida and Pathways of Hope Counseling Center. 

The Lee County Counselors’ Association awarded me with a Certificate of Appreciation for my outstanding counseling service both in the community and their schools.   I also appeared on WinkTV after 9/11 talking about “Grief and Loss.”

During the aftermath of 9/11, I facilitated group meetings for members of the community. I also presented to other professionals an educational seminar “Coping with Terrorism.” During this same period, I volunteered with the American Red Cross to offer my counseling services. I became a group leader/facilitator for a Group @ Hope Hospice “A Support Network for Military Families” . I also provided numerous educational classes, “Working with People with Disabilities,” “Coping with Long-Term Illness and Dementia,” and “Grief and Loss,” just to name a few.

Today, I continue to provide support to individuals, families, and members in the community on a wide range of topic and issues. .
